After some fairly snide comments from some "cricket" supporters regarding Englands chances against the Aussies I have come up with a cunning plan !!!

I have burnt the Ashes so the aussies cant have them back whatever the result!!!!

Finally after nearly 25 years of waiting the new WHO album is out
No matter how bad it is Iain and I will buy it and devour every note!!

I know it wont mean as much to most people - some members of my family arent even 25 years old - but it is a moment in history. Even if you are over 60 and half dead you can still generate millions. Roll on old age !!!

We Won The Ashes !!!

It might start snowing or maybe 3 wise men might appear from the east - but England have done it and beaten the Aussies to reclaim the Ashes. It was a great series with brilliant cricket .Bad luck Australia,who played well, but England had the Flintoff factor (and a couple of South Africans!!)

My Dad(Gordon) and Mom(Sue)and their children Helen and Alistair have just returned from a mammoth trek to Annapurna - I told them you could go by helicopter these days but they decided to spend 5 weeks walking !! Glad that they are back safely
